The Golden Years Project is a gentle, guided space to tell those stories in your own words. Together, we preserve the voice behind the memories and shape them into a lasting keepsake for the people and generations you choose.

The experience
This is not an interrogation or a race through dates. It is a series of comfortable conversations, guided by curiosity and led by what matters most to you.
A relaxed discovery conversation helps us choose the people, places, traditions, and turning points you most want to remember.
We meet in person or from a distance for guided, recorded conversations. There is room for pauses, laughter, tangents, and the memories that arrive unexpectedly.
The recordings are transcribed, organized, and lightly edited into a clear narrative while protecting your natural voice and the way you tell a story.
You review the work, correct the details, and decide what stays private, what may be shared, and who may receive the finished story.
Your chosen recordings and written story become a personal archive or beautifully made heirloom to place in the hands of those you love.
Made to be kept
Every project is personal. Choose a simple voice archive, a written volume, or an heirloom collection that brings your words, photographs, and voice together. All prices are in US dollars.

A focused chapter, treasured memory, or collection of reflections preserved in the warmth and cadence of your own voice.

A graceful written portrait shaped from your conversations and illustrated with the photographs that belong beside them.
From $9,500
A richly considered family archive bringing an expansive life story, beloved voices, and historical materials into one lasting collection.
Payment is paced with the work. A 50% deposit reserves the project, 25% is due after the interviews, and the final 25% is due before finished production.
Your project can grow. Additional recording sessions are $350–$450. Extra books, travel, extensive photo restoration, rush work, and added revision rounds are quoted separately.
Every life takes its own shape. We will confirm the final scope, schedule, and price together before any payment is requested.
The founding five
To mark the beginning of The Golden Years Project, five storytellers may commission any of the three keepsakes at a private founding rate. In return, I ask only for thoughtful feedback after the experience; sharing your story publicly is never required.
Availability is confirmed personally before an agreement or invoice is issued.

Warmly edited, chaptered audio made for easy listening and sharing, accompanied by a polished transcript and any finished book files included with your collection.
High-quality WAV masters, carefully named and organized, are delivered through a private password-protected link with a keepsake USB copy.
You own the finished recordings and story. Nothing is shared without written permission. An encrypted working backup is retained for twelve months, then deleted unless you request otherwise.
Held in confidence
Nothing is assumed. You choose the subjects we explore and the ones we leave untouched.
Nothing is final without you. You may correct, revise, remove, or restrict any part of the story before it is completed.
Nothing is shared without consent. You decide whether the work is only for family, held privately, or made available to a wider audience.

My role is to create an unhurried space where your memories can surface naturally, then to honor what you share with discernment, warmth, and faithful attention to your voice.

That is exactly what the first conversation is for. I bring thoughtful prompts and help find a natural starting point. You only need to bring yourself.
Yes. Depending on your wishes, a loved one may join a conversation, contribute photographs, or add a companion remembrance to the finished collection.
Not at all. A project may center on one season, one relationship, a family tradition, a vocation, a journey, or the lessons you most want to pass on.
Only if you explicitly choose that. Private family keepsakes are the heart of this work, and privacy preferences are agreed upon clearly before recording begins.
Choose a keepsake below and send a reservation request. I will personally confirm the scope, schedule, and any founding availability, then send a simple agreement and invoice. Your place is reserved when the agreement and 50% deposit are received.
A Voice Keepsake is generally completed within four to six weeks. Storybook and Heirloom projects unfold over several months, at a pace shaped around the storyteller and the family review process.
